Factors associated with resistant disease in pediatric differentiated thyroid carcinomas

Purpose: Thyroid carcinoma is the most common that originated from endocrine tissue in pediatric patients. Pediatric thyroid carcinomas are more prone to reveal lymph node or lung metastasis and recurrence. In this study, clinical, pathological genetic features may be related with resistant differentiated patients were investigated.
 Materials Methodsː Thirty-nine who 18 years old below given 131I Radioactive Iodine (RAI) therapy included study. RAI was planned accordance American Association (ATA) Guideline. Clinical postoperative of retrospectively determined received single multiple due disease compared statistically terms these features. Genetic analysis also made therapies. 
 Resultsː Thirty-one female 8 male. Thirty-four had papillary carcinoma, 4 follicular 1 mixed papillary-oncocytic Eight I-131 cycles disease. Any feature mutation would indicate not found Conclusionː Although rarely seen, it has an increasing incidence recent years. We able any our limited group. Clinical, characteristics poor prognosis must investigated larger study groups.
